Istanbul – A Magical Trip to the Bosphorus & the Princes’ Islands
4-Day Trip
DAY 1
Early morning gathering and departure. Border control and entry into Turkey. With intermediate stops along the route, we arrive in Tekirdağ for a short break, then continue to Istanbul.
Visit to Balıklı with its Holy Spring and other historically significant sites. We continue along the Theodosian Walls. Free time at the Grand Bazaar for walking and shopping.
Transfer to the hotel in the Taksim area and check-in. In the afternoon, walk to the Church of the Holy Trinity, followed by free time along Istiklal Street with its shops and restaurants. Overnight stay.
DAY 2
Breakfast at the hotel and departure for a guided tour of Dolmabahçe Palace.
Next, we visit the Monastery of the Blachernae and then the Egyptian Bazaar, with free time for walking and shopping. We stay in the Eminönü area, where there is an optional Bosphorus cruise offering panoramic views of the city’s waterfront districts, bridges, and historic landmarks.
Return to the hotel and free time. Overnight stay.
DAY 3
Breakfast and departure for a panoramic tour of Istanbul’s historic center. Visit the Hippodrome, the Blue Mosque, the Basilica Cistern, and Hagia Sophia.
Then transfer to a seaside area of the city for lunch.
Return to the hotel and free afternoon. Overnight stay.
DAY 4
Breakfast and departure for the Asian side of the city, to the Bostancı area. From there, an optional excursion to the Princes’ Islands with stops at selected islands.
Free time for sightseeing, dining, and walking around the islands. Return to Istanbul, followed by departure towards the border with intermediate stops. Arrival in Greece.
